As the Black Caps prepare for the conclusion of their ODI series with Pakistan later today, the team are starting to get excited about their Twenty20 tri-series with England and Australia, opener Martin Guptill says.
New Zealand will head to Australia at the beginning of February for the start of the tri-series between the three teams, taking on Australia in Sydney before bringing the series back to home soil with a match against England in Wellington.
Speaking to media before the final ODI at the Basin Reserve, Guptill said that his side were anticipating a good clash against two cricketing giants.
"You chat to a few of the guys who are looking forward to that tri-series," he said.
"It's the first time we've done something like that for quite a while, so the boys are pretty excited and looking forward to getting into it."
