Paddle boarders make the most of their flooded South Auckland front yard

Two South Auckland residents have made the most of their flooded front garden by getting out their paddleboards while battling strong, gusty winds. 

Briahna Barrett told 1 NEWS homes along the waterfront in Clarks Beach have been flooded and were debating whether to call Civil Defense. 

"The high tide was about 20 minutes ago, it reached the house," she said.
