England all-rounder Ben Stokes' struggles with the bat have continued, run out for a duck in Canterbury's Ford Trophy clash with Northern Districts in Christchurch.
Batting second after ND made 274 with the bat, Stokes came to the wicket with Canterbury wobbling at 48/2.
He would only face one ball, before being left stranded with partner Michael Pollard sending him through for a risky single, with Brett Randell taking out the stumps with a direct hit to leave Stokes out of his ground.
Stokes has struggled with bat and ball since signing with Canterbury, with scores of just 2 and 34 to average of 12, whilst only taking one wicket with the ball at an average of 144.
