Man critically injured in Auckland hit and run is now stable

The incident left a man fighting for his life in hospital, and the driver of the vehicle who hit him left the scene. (Source: Other)

A man has been involved in a hit and run in Auckland this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Mount Wellington just before 4.45am.

The man was taken to hospital in a critical condition and a hospital spokesperson says he is now stable.
