Earlier this year TVNZ1's Seven Sharp brought you the story of four-year-old Liberty Collins who suffers from a rare eye condition meaning she has to wear a prosthetic in her right eye.

After a traumatic experience with an ocular surgeon where the prosthetic got stuck and had to be ripped out, her dad Dwayne decided he would make sure his daughter never suffered like that again.

He taught himself how to make prosthetic eyes by watching YouTube videos.

YouTube saw our Seven Sharp story and made their own video following Dwayne's amazing journey from amateur to professional eye ball maker.

The incredible tale can be viewed in the Seven Sharp video embedded above.
