A person was trapped inside a vehicle following a four-car crash on Auckland's Southern Motorway just before noon.
The crash took place just before the Takanini interchange and blocked the right southbound lane.
Emergency services attended and Police reported there were no injuries.
The New Zealand Transport Agency have advised motorists to expect delays or avoid the area.
Northbound traffic should also expect delays heading to Takanini, with the tail nearly back to Drury.
