UFC superstar Conor McGregor could be in line for another high profile venture into the boxing ring, with former world champion Manny Pacquiao holding preliminary talks about an April bout.
McGregor, 29, hasn't fought in either code since his high profile debut, losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr in Las Vegas earlier this year, although Pacquiao looks to be enticing the Irish star into another bout.
Speaking to Sky Sports UK, Pacquiao revealed that his camp had made contact with McGregor's representatives, although any fight was still a way off.
"Initially," Pacquiao said. "But we have not yet had any follow-up conversations."
"If we can negotiate it, I have no problem. It is OK with both of us."
Pacquiao, 38, hasn't fought since surrendering his WBO welterweight title to Australia's Jeff Horn in Brisbane in July.
