British fighter Anthony Joshua has fired back at New Zealand's Joseph Parker, as talks of a title unification bout between the pair stall.

After Parker yesterday  called out Joshua on Twitter, the undefeated Brit responded, telling the BBC that the Kiwi WBO champion was trying to demonise him, in the hope of securing a unification bout.

"I think it's not nice, I don't really respect it and I have no time for it," Joshua said.

"What's he trying? Be the big bully? Demonise everything I have done?"

"In Formula 1, golf, tennis, rugby, they are very classy people, respectable about their peers.

"Then you have people like Joseph Parker holding a press conference talking about everything he thinks I am."

Talks of any potential unification bout between WBA and IBF champion Joshua, and WBO title holder Parker seem to have come to a halt in recent weeks, with the Kiwi's demand for a 35 per cent stake in the post-fight profits appearing to be more than what the Brit's camp are willing to give.
