Watch: Steve Hansen left red faced over Kieran Read injury – 'I got that wrong'

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen was left a little red faced at this morning's press conference, having mixed up skipper Kieran Read's injury ahead of Sunday's clash with Scotland.

Reports earlier this week indicated that Read was struggling with a groin complaint ahead of the Test at Murrayfield this weekend, with Hansen having to correct himself this morning.

"He hasn't got a groin (injury) though," he said.

"I got that wrong, it's a hip flexor."

"It's around the right region, just on the outside, not the inside."
