Tongan rugby league stars took time out of their day off yesterday to share their stories with troubled youth at Christchurch men's prison.
Manu Ma'u told the young offenders that change is possible.
"10 years ago I was in the same position as you guys," said Ma'u.
"To be here today was pretty hard, but just knowing you have that right support system and all that support around you - that helps you go a long way."
Ma'u was joined by his Tongan teammates Will Hopoate, Manu Vatuvei, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Siliva Havili and Sio Siua Taukeiaho.
