Watch: Startled people flee as CCTV video captures deadly Middle East quake shaking building, breaking glass

A camera inside a building captured the terrifying moment a powerful 7.2 earthquake began in the Middle East.

It is unclear exactly where the video was filmed, but the intensity of the shaking was strong enough to prompt a very quick evacuation.

People in the video can be seen rushing for the doors as the shaking builds up, and a glass door smashes as they make their way through.

Officials have stated that 61 people have already been confirmed dead in the quake, and more than 200 have been injured.
