All Blacks centre Ryan Crotty was left scratching his head, completely unaware of the fact he'd scored New Zealand's 2000th Test match try in the 38-18 win over France this morning.
With the hosts down to 14 men thanks to prop Rabah Slimani infringing at the scrum, the All Blacks went on the attack with their numerical advantage.
A grubber from Sonny Bill Williams allowed Crotty to pounce and score a try that asserted the All Blacks' dominance in the first half.
Speaking to media after the match however, Crotty said he had no idea of the significance of his try.
"I had no idea! But it's pretty cool," Crotty said.
"I think I owe Sonny a water for that kick he put through for me... I didn't have to do too much."
