Kiwi singer Lorde has apologised to fans who find themselves shut out of her Auckland concerts because the Powerstation venue is licensed and under 18-year-olds not allowed in.
Sunday's show scheduled for the Powerstation has been moved to the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna.
Accompanying adults holding tickets for the shows next Tuesday and Wednesday will be able to take under-18 ticket holders to Sunday's show instead.
Those who now can't go have been offered refunds.
Next week's shows are still at the Powerstation but are now R18.
Lorde has tweeted that she was "blindsided" by the Powerstation's licensing issue this morning.
"Guys i'm SO sorry about this. we were completely blindsided by the venue's licensing issue this morn & there were so few options 48 hrs out," she posted.
She's offered free merchandise to those who can't now go to Sunday's show.
"Not cool i'm so bummed out. if you can't make the sunday show, reply to this and i'll hook u up with some special hometown merch on me," she tweeted.
That prompted some people not affected by the venue problems to try to claim free goods from the singer.
But Lorde then tweeted that her management will have fans send a photo of their concert ticket or booking information to verify their claim for free merchandise.
