All Blacks winger Waisake Naholo is being backed by his coach Steve Hansen to shine on the Northern tour, having cemented his spot on the right flank.
With injuries to the likes of Israel Dagg, Ben Smith and Nehe Milner-Skudder, Naholo finds himself as the last man standing in the number 14 jersey, with his coach backing the winger to star against France on Sunday.
"Waisake's been someone that we've had a lot of confidence in," Hansen said.
"He's a little bit like Bender (Ben Smith) when he first started, he probably didn't believe in himself enough."
"If he can continue to grow that self belief, then we'll see the real Waisake."
