Watch: Luke Romano's classic response to question about black eye - 'You should see the other guy'

All Blacks lock Luke Romano gave a traditional schoolyard response to questions about his black eye, fronting the media before his side's Test match against France on Sunday.

Romano, 31, entered the room still bearing the scars of the All Blacks' match with the Barbarians last week, and was asked about his injury.

"You should see the other guy," Romano calmly replied.

"I'm sure it'll be fine by Saturday (Sunday NZT)."

Romano will start in the number four jersey.
