One of the world's rarest and most expensive cars, LaFerrari Aperta worth $10 million, has gone on show in Auckland.
The supercar was made to celebrate Ferrari's 70th anniversary and there are only 200 of them in the world.
Its engine has been described as more like that of a jet fighter than a car.
The limited production hybrid sports car was delivered to ASB Showgrounds this morning, ahead of the 2017 Big Boys Toys show from tomorrow until Sunday.
LaFerrari means "The Ferrari" and it's seen as the definitive Ferrari from the Italian supercar maker.
The Aperta maintains the LaFerrari's 950 horsepower engine which includes a 6.3 litre V-12 delivery roughly 800 hp, the bulk of the oomph coming from an electric motor and battery pack.
All that power is routed through the rear wheels and a seven-speed, dual clutch sequential manual transmission.
While the removable top will add some weight to the supercar, the Aperta can sprint from 0 to 100 kp/h in less than three seconds, and has top speed of over 350 kp/h.
Ferrari has asked owners not to sell their limited edition supercars for at least 18 months to ensure that only the most passionate collectors get them, not people out to turn a quick profit.
The car has been brought to the show by the Gut Cancer Foundation, the official charity of Big Boys Toys, to help raise funds for awareness and research into cancers of the digestive track.
