Homicide investigation underway after man fatally shot in Auckland

A homicide investigation is underway following the death of a man from a gunshot wound in Auckland on Saturday.

Police say the incident, where a man received a fatal gunshot wound, happened around 1.10am on Saturday .

The man who died is known to police, who say they're speaking with a number of people that are helping with enquiries.
