The All Blacks have called up Highlanders loose forward Luke Whitelock into their camp as injury cover.

All Blacks veteran Jerome Kaino suffered a knee injury during New Zealand’s 31-22 win over the Barbarians on Sunday at Twickenham Stadium in London.

Whitelock has played only one Test match for New Zealand, making his debut for the All Blacks back in 2013 against Japan in Tokyo.

The All Blacks take on France this Sunday in Paris, their second match of their northern hemisphere tour.
