The All Blacks coaching staff are hoping the resting of some of their senior players pays off this weekend when they take on France in Paris.

Five senior members had an extra week at home to rejuvenate before the final three matches of the season.

Captain Kieran Read, Sonny Bill Williams, Dane Coles, Wyatt Crockett and Sam Whitelock arrived just a few days ago after having a spent an extra week at home.

"To have those extra 3-4 days at home in your own bed and your own environment is bloody good," said Crockett.

"The job for us to do now is come back and bring that energy and excitement to the group."

Despite the French side suffering a number of injuries the All Blacks aren’t taking any chances.

"The French on their day, they'll beat anyone."

The All Blacks' match against France in Paris kicks off at 8.45am on Sunday (NZ time).
