All Blacks flanker Jerome Kaino's season appears to be over, after suffering a knee injury against the Barbarians at Twickenham yesterday.

Kaino, 34, injured his posterior cruciate ligament in the 31-22 win, likely ruling him out of the rest of the All Blacks' Northern Tour.

As the team arrived in Paris this morning, Kaino could be seen in severe discomfort, limping from the Eurostar to the All Blacks' team bus.

Should the 81-Test veteran be ruled out of action, Liam Squire and Vaea Fifita would be left contending for the number six jersey to face France on November 12.
