Police hunt trio over knife attack outside Hamilton bar

Hamilton police have released CCTV images of three men wanted over an attack early on Saturday that put three other people in hospital.

It happened during a fight between two groups outside a Hood Street bar about 1.30am and police believe the injuries were caused by a knife or sharp object.

All three injured have since been discharged from Waikato Hospital.

"Hamilton Police believe three males pictured will be able to assist us with our investigation and would appreciate the public's assistance to identify the individuals," Detective Sergeant Andre Kavanagh said today.

Earlier police said the wanted men left the area shortly after the altercation in a blue Ford Falcon vehicle that was parked outside the Square Leg bar on Hood Street.
