David Bain and his wife Liz Davies have named their baby daughter after Bain's murdered sister Arawa.
The couple named their daughter Sophie Arawa Carolyn Davies, the NZ Herald reports.
She was born on September 30 and is a sister for the couple's son who was born in 2014.
Arawa Bain who was 19, died when she was killed along with her sister Laniet, 18, younger brother Stephen, 14, and their parents at their Dunedin home in June 1994.
David Bain was found guilty in 1995 of the murder of his family but was acquitted in a retrial in 2009.

He received a payment of nearly $1 million from the Government last year.
