All Blacks first-five Beauden Barrett has spoken about preparing to captain the side for the very first time against the Barbarians at Twickenham tomorrow morning.
Barrett, 26, will lead the All Blacks in Kieran Read's absence tomorrow morning, with the match to be the first time the first-five captained a team in his career.
"It's been a good week! Something different," Barrett said at his side's captain's run training session.
"It is the first team I've captained, so for it to be the All Blacks (is) a good challenge for me."
