Labour Minister Jenny Salesa has called for acts of aggression between Samoan and Tongan rugby league fans to come to an end, as the two sides prepare to meet in Hamilton tomorrow night.

The build up to tomorrow's clash has been marred by violence between the two sets of fans, with Ms Salesa declaring enough is enough.

"There's been several incidents out there," she began.

"The game is only 80 minutes, we are brothers and sisters from the Pacific, we will be brothers and sisters for life."

Ms Salesa is New Zealand's first Tonga-born Tongan-speaking Minister.

The former heavyweight boxer is urging calm between fans ahead of tomorrow's World Cup clash in Hamilton. (Source: Other)
