Cantabrians are welcoming the early opening of the new four-lane Western Belfast Bypass, which will open today ahead of schedule.
The motorway features three bridges and off-road pedestrian and cycleways.
Authorities are asking those who plan to use the new road to drive cautiously until they are familiar with the new layout of the road.
The motorway had an approximate cost of $122m to build, according to the NZTA.
