Kiwis coach David Kidwell was blown away by the mural of himself in his hometown of Christchurch.
The mural, painted by artist Graham Hoete stands on the side of a building on Lichdfield Street, in central Christchurch, with the Kiwis' coach coming face to face with it for the first time today.
"It's very humbling to see my mug up in the city that I grew up in," he told 1 NEWS.
"It's an honour and a privilege."

Kidwell was also happy to notice the sheer size of the artwork, with the larger than life painting spanning the building's outer wall.
"Someone said I had a big head, but I didn't realise it was that big!" he joked.
The Kiwis are in Christchurch ahead of the Rugby League World Cup match with Scotland on November 4.
