Police in the English city of Manchester are searching for three people involved in a shocking, unprovoked attack on a Good Samaritan who was tricked into helping a woman off tram tracks at a station.
CCTV footage shows a man and two women on the platform, where the victim arrived at the same time.
One of the women got onto the tracks and appealed to victim to help her up.
But as he goes to pull her up, her male companion kicks him off the platform.
The victim climbs back onto the platform and tussles with his attacker.

But he was then threatened with a metal pole and bottle by the trio, before he managed to escape.
