One dead after car and motorbike collide in Christchurch

A person has died following a collision between a car and motorcycle in Christchurch.

Police say the crash occurred just after 5pm on Radley St in Woolston, and a scene cordon is still in place with traffic being diverted.

The Fire Service says it was called to the scene to assist police.

It's not yet known how many people were involved in the crash or if there were any other injuries.
