More footage has emerged from the brawl which took place at a South Auckland supermarket on Tuesday night, this time showing a couple of brave women jumping in to stop the fight which was taking place in front of children.
The video begins with the brawl at the Mangere Pak'n Save in full swing, as a group of men throw punches at each other, with one man falling to the ground.
Two women then begin shouting at them to stop, one of them physically grabbing a man and pulling him back, while another uses a shopping trolley to block off the scene.
"Anyone want some free shoes?" the person videoing the scene on her phone says while filming jandals on the ground which had come loose in the fight.
"Take it outside, we got kids," one of the brave women breaking up the fight then yells while standing between the men to break them up.
Police say they were called to the incident involving multiple individuals around 9:10pm Tuesday night, but when they arrived those involved had fled the scene.
"We would like to speak to anyone involved in the incident or those who may know who was involved," police said in a statement yesterday.
