South Auckland Police are investigating a shocking all-out brawl that has outraged the local community after erupting at a Mangere Pak 'n Save last night.
Police say they were called to the incident involving multiple individuals around 9:10pm last night, but when they arrived those involved had fled the scene.
"We would like to speak to anyone involved in the incident or those who may know who was involved," police said in a statement.
The fight has also outraged the community in Mangere, with many taking to Facebook to voice their opinions.
"How embarrassing!... Eff'n animals I hope they were arrested," Nane posted.
"Only in paknsave mangere do they have a massive fight while people are walking out with their trolleys hahaha Nogoods man," Chanel wrote.
Another user found the funny side of the shocking incident, with Aukuso posting: "PaknSave Mangere must've had some mean deals."
Other Facebook users disagreed with making light of the brawl though, writing: "I don’t think the fight at Pak n Save, Mangere is funny at all..."
Many agreed with the above, stating it was cowardly behaviour to fight in front of children and the elderly.
"A disgusting display by cowards who choose a public place to brawl (as per usual) because they knew someone would step in and save their pathetic arses," Barb replied to one post.
Police are asking for members of the public to help with their investigations.
"Police are aware of cellphone footage taken of the incident and encourage anyone who filmed the incident to contact Mangere Police on 09 250 0500."
