A bank customer in the US state of Pennsylvania is being hailed a hero after tackling a gun-toting robber in the bank and holding him in a headlock.
CCTV video from the bank in Montdale shows hotel manager Robert Sakosky entering the bank, followed soon afterwards by a hooded man carrying a bag.
The robber points a pistol towards the teller area but Mr Sakosky suddenly slams him into the ground with so much force that the security camera shakes.
The pair struggle as the robber gets to his feet, but Mr Sakosky forces him to the ground again, disarms him and tosses his bag away.
The customer holds the robber down in a headlock but the man manages to break free and run out the door.
Mr Sakosky then follows the robber outside and helped police find and arrest him, WRDW News reports.
"He's definitely a hero, but he's just a normal guy,” said Wade Nordahl, one of Mr Sakosky's colleagues at the nearby hotel he manages.
“He never gets angry. I'm honestly surprised he did it."
The arrested man, identified as John Ryall, faces a number of charges including robbery and making terrorist threats.
