All Blacks wing Rieko Ioane will spend the next two weeks on the sidelines, after sustaining a finger injury in his side's 23-18 loss to the Wallabies in Brisbane on Saturday night.

Ioane, 20, had to leave the field in the 21st minute of the match after dislocating his finger in a tackle, before returning to the field nine minutes later.

The youngster would go on to score a try in the second half of the All Blacks' loss.

The All Blacks confirmed the news on Twitter, saying:

"UPDATE: @rieko_ioane dislocated his finger in last night's #AUSvNZL Test. Steve Hansen says he'll be out for two weeks."

The injury means that Ioane will miss the All Blacks v Barbarians in London on November 5, although the winger is still expected to be included in New Zealand's end of year tour squad, named later today.
