Letter written by Titanic passenger sells for record price

Oscar Holverson an American businessman was found amongst the other victims with a letter to his mother. 

The letter was auctioned off for nearly $250,000 New Zealand dollars. 

The price is said to be a world record for an object of this kind. 

It was the only letter that survived the tragedy.
