Roadworks near Auckland Airport's domestic terminal have brought traffic to a standstill at the drop off zone, with commuters spending up to 30 minutes without moving.
Auckland Airport communications manager Simon Lambourne confirmed road works were the cause of the delay, saying cars are slow leaving the drop off zone, but traffic is moving.
However, a report from a motorist at the domestic drop off zone said they haven't moved for 30 minutes and both incoming and outgoing traffic is blocked.
