Police in Canberra are hunting a driver who mounted a footpath and narrowly missed wiping out a cyclist riding on the path.
The hair-raising incident last month was captured on the dashcam of another motorist travelling behind.
ACT police have released the footage publicly now to try to find the driver of the black Land Rover Freelander 2 which was allegedly stolen a week before the incident.
Nine News reports the vehicle was seen speeding down the road before failing to stop for police.
The vision shows it mounting the curb, just missing the unsuspecting cyclist and then going back onto the road where it clipped two other vehicles.
