British singer Ed Sheeran has confirmed to fans via Instagram that he will cancel his upcoming Asia shows after fracturing both arms in a bicycle accident.
The famous singer said today a visit to the doctors confirmed fractures in his right wrist and left elbow, leaving him unable to perform for the immediate future.
He has had to cancel his shows in Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

"I'm waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that," read an Instagram post written on behalf of Sheeran.
It is unknown if his six New Zealand shows in March will be affected.
