Confronting video from Florida police has been released as a warning to others of the dangers of heroin.
The video shows two mothers in the US passed out from heroin overdoses in the front seats of a car, as their two babies are left screaming in the back.
The shocking bodycam footage, from the October 5 incident, was released by Florida's Boynton Beach Police, in a bid to warn others against using the dangerous and highly addictive drug.
The video shows an officer approaching a car and finding two babies in the back crying, while their mums Kristen O’Conner, 27, and June Schweinhart, 28 lie passed out from heroin overdoses in the front.
"I got two overdoses and two babies in the back," a paramedic attending the scene tells the officer wearing the bodycam.
The officer attempts to comfort one of the crying babies by using a dummy in the distressing footage.
The two mums have been charged with child neglect and were taken to Palm Beach County Jail after being released from hospital according to Yahoo! 7 News.
