Three people are injured and one person is trapped in a vehicle following a car accident in West Auckland tonight.
A St John spokesperson told 1 NEWS they were called to the scene on Piha Road just before 8.00pm today.
They said the car is believed to have driven off a bank.
A police central media spokesperson told 1NEWS four people have sustained minor to moderate injuries in the incident.
It has not been confirmed at this stage whether the person trapped in the vehicle has since been freed.
