Person in serious condition following bus crash in West Auckland

One person has been left in a serious condition following a crash in West Auckland overnight.

Police were called to the crash between a bus and car on Rosebank Road in Avondale just before 1.30am.

The driver of the car was injured and was taken to Auckland Hospital in a serious condition.

The bus driver was not injured and no passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash.
