Watch: Drone footage reveals just how huge the landslip on Auckland's North Shore really is

Drone footage shot last night shows the scale of a landslip on Auckland's North Shore.

Part of the car park on Rawene Rd, Birkenhead, collapsed overnight Sunday, with earth continuing to slide down into Rawene Rd Reserve throughout the day.

Kaipatiki Local Board chair Danielle Grant said local politicians have been aware of a gradual widening of gaps in the car park for months.

The area has been fenced off with security on site overnight. Officials say that storm pipes will be redirected in the morning.
