All Blacks hooker Dane Coles has spoken about the phenomenal first half performances from both his side and the Springboks, after the first half between the two teams in Cape Town saw the clock tick over 50 minutes.
Thanks to no side putting the ball out, the first spell of the match clocked up an additional 10 minutes, with Coles commenting that the style of play in that time resembled touch, rather than Test match rugby.
"I think both teams were pretty keen to see who who'd open up and score first," Coles said.
"After nine, eight minutes, I think both teams were pretty happy when the ball went out and we could get in the sheds and regroup."
"It was a bit funny, it was like playing touch footy - both teams were throwing the ball around and having a go."
