Kiwi hero Willie Apiata and Prince Harry hongi at Invictus Games

Prince Harry and Victoria Cross recipient Willia Apiata shared a hongi at the Invictus Games in Canada overnight.

In an image shared to Twitter, the New Zealand Defence Force showed the two coming together, exchanging a traditional Maori greeting.

Prince Harry also met with New Zealand Invictus team coach Patrick Pradel, before congratulating archery athletes Ihaka Matairangi, Nicki Fairbairn, Koro Haita and coach Matt Vangioni.
