One person is dead after a water-related incident at a beach on Auckland's North Shore this evening.
Emergency services were called to Narrow Neck Beach just before 6pm.
Police said the person was brought out of the water after suffering what appeared to be a medical event but couldn't be revived by medical staff.
“The death will likely be referred to the Coroner who would ultimately rule on cause of death.”
